Now, needless to say, the bachelorette party is already legendary, but now it's time to capture those memories for life with an epic photoshoot! Yes, every bachelorette party needs to have a photoshoot! And let’s be real—no one wants to be the one looking frazzled in the corner of a group shot (looking at you, Bride).

So, whether you're the bride-to-be or part of her "I Do" crew, prepping the night before is key to making sure everyone looks like the queens they are. Now, what all can you do? Well, go ahead and grab your champagne, throw on your pre-party PJs, and let’s dive into the ultimate prep guide for that insta-worthy bachelorette photoshoot.

Don’t Wait Until the Last-Minute ‘I Do’ Panic!

We all know the panic that hits when you’re still staring at your closet five minutes before leaving the house. Do yourself a favor—plan those killer outfits the night before! Now, you’re going to want to coordinate with your bride tribe to make sure no one shows up in something that clashes. If everyone’s rocking pastels and someone struts in wearing neon green... well, let’s just say that’s a vibe you might want to avoid. So basically, the goal is to look fierce, not face-plant halfway through the photoshoot!

It’s Time to Glow, Babe!

Sure, the photoshoot is tomorrow, but the glow-up starts tonight. It’s time to get that skincare routine on lock! Bust out the hydrating face masks and under-eye patches. Those bags under your eyes from last night’s party? Yeah, they’re not invited to this photoshoot. But what about your hair?

Well, you seriously have to keep in mind that the prep is EVERYTHING. Especially if you’re rocking curls (yes, the upkeep can be super challenging). Now, you’re going to want to avoid a frizz fiasco? You might even need to brush up (pun intended)  on how to brush curly hair without making it frizzy So you’re going to need a wide-tooth comb, and every wavy and curly hair girlie is going to need it (if you’re on a trip, you'd better pack it). Plus, dry hair plus brushes equals instant poof—no one needs that. We’re going for "beachy curl goddess," not "survived a tornado."

Hydrate or Face the Consequences

Okay, we get it—it’s a bachelorette party. There’s likely more prosecco than water in your system right now. Now, while that’s totally understandable, you need to look amazing in this photoshoot. So, your skin will thank you if you hydrate the night before the shoot.

Essentially, water keeps everything plump and glowing, while dehydration… well, let’s just say it doesn’t exactly scream "camera-ready." All you really need to do is have some water in between those cocktails and  avoid salty foods.

Pack the Props

Props can turn a good bachelorette photoshoot into an epic one. So, it’s really up to you (or the bride); for example, there are balloons and confetti to personalized signs; they add that extra touch of fun (and plenty of photo opps!).

The night before, gather all the goodies and make sure they’re prepped and ready to go. No one wants to scramble for uninflated balloons ten minutes before showtime! However, if you have a photographer, double-check and see if they provide these props because sometimes they do.

Charge All the Devices

If you’re hiring a photographer, you’re still going to want to pay close attention to your and all the other ladies devices too. So, no one wants to be mid-selfie and see the dreaded “low battery” warning. Seriously, you need to charge EVERYTHING the night before. Phones, portable chargers, cameras—whatever you’ve got, make sure it’s juiced up and ready to capture all the fun.

But why bother if you’re hiring a professional? Well, even if you’ve hired a pro photographer, there will be plenty of moments you’ll want to snap on your own. From goofy behind-the-scenes shots to selfies with the bride, keep those phones charged so you don’t miss a single moment.

Chat with the Photographer

Do you have a vision for these photos? Great! Make sure the photographer does too. Basically, this should have been done weeks ago, but it still helps to send them a quick message the night before to confirm the time, location, and any must-have shots. Got a signature pose in mind? Planning a group shot that would look amazing framed on the bride's wall? But basically, just let them know!

Pack an Emergency Kit

Expect the unexpected—especially at a bachelorette event! Yes, like it or not, something could always go wrong!

So, you or the bride-to-be needs to pack an emergency kit that has all the essentials: fashion tape for any wardrobe mishaps, safety pins, a mini hairbrush (or comb for those curls!), makeup touch-up products, deodorant wipes (a lifesaver), and even some snacks and water. You never know when hunger—or an outfit malfunction—will strike! So basically that emergency kit you need for the wedding, it’s the same one needed for the bachelorette photoshoot too.

Relax, Have Fun, and Bring the Vibes

The final step in preparing for the perfect bachelorette photoshoot? Well, it’s getting into the right mindset. This is supposed to be fun, right? Laugh, joke around, and let the energy flow naturally. The best photos come from those genuine moments where everyone is truly enjoying themselves. The whole point of this photoshoot is to have fun, and this just can’t be stressed enough!

If you’re the bride-to-be, you’re going to be the center of the whole shoot. So, you’re going to need to visualize the fun (and maybe practice a few poses in the mirror if you’re feeling extra), but most importantly, relax. When everyone’s in a good mood, it’ll shine through in the photos. And when you're having fun, the bride will too—because this day is all about her and the squad, living it up one last time before she ties the knot!

What Else?

But overall, prepping for a bachelorette photoshoot doesn’t have to be a chore—it’s all about setting the stage for a day of fun, friendship, and fabulous photos. You just need to try and do all of these things the night before; that’s seriously all!
