Key West Bachelorette Party: Snorkeling, Ghost Tours & Bar Hopping

Bride-to-be Hannah and six friends traveled to Key West, Florida, to celebrate her bachelorette party. Key West is an ideal destination for a bachelorette party with its lively bars, beautiful beaches, and never-ending sunsets — If you are planning a bachelorette trip in Key West, check out where these ladies stayed, eat, and partied for some ideas and inspiration. 

 Where They Stayed:

They booked two rooms at Truman Hotel off of Duval street. This is a cute and quaint hotel that ended up being significantly cheaper than the resorts and Airbnb’s.They travelled to Key West during spring break in March, so many of the other accommodation options were more expensive. 

How they got to Key West: They live in Florida so drove to Key West by car. 

Trip length:

Theit trip was from Thursday-Sunday and traveled back home on Sunday. 

Where They Eat:

While in Key West they went out to dinner once, but other than that it was pizza or bratwursts before hitting up the bars.

• Bagatelle: Perfect for brunch, be sure to make a reservation as it can get booked up quickly.
• New York Pasta Garden: They had a nice dinner at this cozy restaurant known for its Italian food. 

Other dinner options: 

• Dante's: This is a nice restaurant to enjoy dinner with a view. Dante's is a must to add to a Key West itinerary if you have time. 

 What They Did:

• Poolside drinks + games: They arrived to their hotel around 3 p.m  and started their trip off by having poolside drinks and playing games together.
• Boat/Snorkeling: Rented a boat with Sunset Water Sports where they went snorkeling which was a great time. They had unlimited mimosas and music which was a fun experience for everyone.
• Key West ghost tour

Where They Partied:

• Duval Street bar hopping: The bride-to-be and her friends went bar hopping one night. There are so many options of bars to choose from if you go on Duval street which include; Willie Tuesdays, The Bull, Sloppy Joe's, Irish Kevin's, Rick Bar and more!
  
• Dante's Pool Party: A swimming pool with waterfall & tiki bars, The pool party also features live DJ’s and food. 

Trip Cost:

• Room: $250 per person
• Drinks: Many bars they went to gave them free drinks knowing they were celebrating a bachelorette party. They also used QR code bracelets, placed venmo on the car and posted to social media. They got about $150 bucks total doing this.
• Snorkeling was $40 per person and a highlight of their trip. They really enjoyed this activity and it was worth the cost. Everyone said it was a 10/10 experience for them.
