The bride-to-be partied in Miami with 8 of her friends. They loved their trip and it is not difficult to see why. Miami is such a dynamic city with its fantastic nightlife, stunning beaches, and wide variety of restaurants. Where they stayed:
They stayed at the Kimpton Surfercomb Hotel. They booked through booking.com. This location has a beautiful pool and is conveniently located on the beach. The Kimpton Surfercomb hotel also offers complimentary wine, happy hour and coffee in the morning! There are also so many great photo opportunities here as well! The bride-to-be and her friends really enjoyed the service provided during their stay.
Tip: Kimpton Surfercomb Hotel will allow you to store your bags before checkin and after checkout. This was nice for this group as they had a late flight when leaving Miami, so they were able to leave their bags and still enjoy the hotel's amenities.
Thursday- arrived, had lunch at the hotel, settled in, decorated room and then hit the pool. They then had dinner at Sweet Liberty! and also checked out Cleavelander on south beach.
Friday- They rented a yacht through Get My Boat app. They did 4 hours, and brought their own breakfast from chick-fil-a to enjoy on the boat. The group had a blast on the yacht and it was a highlight of their trip.
Later that evening....
They went to a cute town near Miami called Little Havana. They eat some authentic food at Olds Havana. This restaurant had cute decorations as well, but can be on the pricey side for food. After dinner they went across the street and enjoyed the live band playing Latin music.
Saturday-On their last day in Miami they went to the drag show/bottomless mimosa brunch. They booked their experience through the bach app which gave them a great deal. They were able to get so much food and bottomless mimosas. They also enjoyed an amazing show with gratuity already included.
Drag brunch show details:
The show is split between two performers and then during the break they play music that has everyone singing. If you are a bride, they ask you to come to the front and do a walk plus a shot! This was so much fun for the bride-to-be and her crew!
Later that night...
They had dinner at a Taco restaurant across from their hotel and enjoyed some more South Beach night life!
Sunday- They had brunch at their hotel, walked around, went souvenir shopping and to the beach!
Some random tips from the bride-to-be & crew:
Download the bach app we loved it!
Download splitwise, miami does not split bills so be prepared to take turns picking up the check or have one person designated for this.
Have both uber and lyft to compare pricing
Keep in mind it randomly rains in Miami, but usually does not last longer than 5 minutes
Wear your veil or something that distinguishes you as a bride! So many nice compliments and special attention/service during their trip.
